In response to the 30 Year Plan for Greater Adelaide, the City of Prospect rezoned Devonport Terrace seeking a new urban form for medium-rise residential development apart of the Urban Corridor master plan. With this came new site constraints and opportunities for up to 3 storey medium density proposals that addressed the required living density. Three different sites along Devenport Terrace have been completed.
Whilst taking into consideration existing constraints, like power lines, the design team were able to use matters like this as the driving force behind the built form and spatial arrangements of each apartment to its maximum living potential.
